A 52-year-old tiler accused of stealing jewellery valued at over $10 000 has been granted bail and will return to court in September.
Romeo Randolph Rudolph, 52, of Upper Dukes Alley, Nelson Street, St Michael, appeared in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court before Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick charged that on May 9 he stole two chains valued at $11 000 belonging to Gairy Zephirin.
The charge is indictable and no plea was taken.
After there was no objection to his release, Rudolph was granted bail of $3 000 with surety. He returns to court on September 2.
