Police have confirmed that a man was shot and killed at Martins Road, Pinelands, St Michael earlier today.
Police Public Affairs and Communications Officer, Inspector Ryan Brathwaite, said the victim was found unresponsive at the scene after being examined by medical personnel, who later pronounced death.
The area has been cordoned off as forensic teams continue investigations.
An eyewitness said they heard gunshots and later saw police on the scene, where the man was found in a vehicle.
