Police have identified the man who was fatally stabbed at a residence in Black Rock as 88-year-old Ralph Forde of Bridge Gap, Black Rock, St. Michael.
Forde’s body was discovered inside a house after officers from the Black Rock Police Station responded to a report around 2:25 a.m. that a man had been stabbed at the residence.
According to initial reports, a female caller from the area contacted police indicating that a male had been stabbed at her home.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Forde unresponsive with stab wounds to his body.
Preliminary investigations suggest that a dispute between a man and a woman led to the stabbing.
A medical doctor later visited the scene, examined the body and officially pronounced death.
