UWI turned in two commanding performances, including a 41-3 demolition of Guardian Group Pride of Villa, as Barbados Netball Association League action continued at the UWI courts in Cave Hill on Wednesday.
The hosts also defeated C.R.F Horizon Ballers 33-15, while St James Stilettos prevailed 39-35 over W.O.W Shottas in the closest contest of the night.
In the Under-14 Opals Zone, Niah Weekes converted 24 of her 29 attempts, Autumn Estwick scored 10 from 24 and Aaliyah Goodman added four from seven as UWI overwhelmed Pride of Villa.
For Pride of Villa, Natajae Dottin converted her only attempt, while Dakiya Dottin scored two from five.
UWI were also comfortable winners in the Rubies Zone, beating C.R.F Horizon Ballers 33-15.
Carla Boyce led the scoring with 19 from 29 attempts, while Makeda Boxill-Drakes contributed 10 from 14 and Weekes converted four from five.
For Horizon Ballers, Shakira Thompson scored nine from 15 attempts, while Tanya Watts converted six of seven.
The closest contest came in the Diamonds Zone, where St James Stilettos edged W.O.W Shottas 39-35.
Stephanie Young converted 16 of her 17 attempts for Stilettos, Shanieta Spencer scored 17 from 27 and Nakisha Boyce added six from seven.
For W.O.W Shottas, Nikita Cyrus led the scoring with 28 from 34 attempts, while Khadijah Alleyne converted seven of her 10.
