Police are on the hunt for a 32-year-old St Philip man considered armed and dangerous.
Ramone Jamar Dacosta Jordan, also known as ‘Gas’, is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters, according to a statement issued by The Barbados Police Service on Thursday.
“Ramone Jamar Dacosta Jordan is considered armed and dangerous and should be approached with caution,” it said.
Jordan, whose last known address is Wiltshire Avenue, Bayfield, St Philip, is described as 6’2” tall, slim build, with a brown complexion and long dreadlocks. He has several tattoos on his left arm, including an image of a wall with the word ‘GAS’ at the top, and another with the words ‘Honor’, ‘Yolo’, and ‘Loyalty’ arranged in a strategic pattern.
Police are advising Jordan to surrender at the Criminal Investigations Department (South), Oistins Police Station, accompanied by an attorney.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact CID South at 418-2608 or 418-2612, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.
Police also reminded the public that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons, and anyone caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.
