Kimani Kyori Straker, 16, of Martins Road, Pine, St Michael was remanded to Dodds Prison when he appeared in court today.
He was charged in the murder of Takori Wilkinson, 17, of Princess Royal Avenue, Pinelands.
Wilkinson was shot on August 13 between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on August 13. He remained in Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the next week on life support before he succumbed to his injuries last Tuesday.
Straker was remanded to reappear on September 19 when he appeared before Magistrate Allison Burke in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on Thursday. (PR/SAT)
