Sir Viv calls for level heads

Sir Vivian Richards has added his voice to those of other greats of the game calling for changes to be made to save the very heart of West Indies cricket.

The legendary West Indies batsman and former captain warned that actions based on emotions would not solve the issues which have plagued West Indies cricket for years.

He spoke on the Good Mornin’ Jojo Sports Show in his native Antigua, the first time he has made a public statement since the West Indies were humiliated when they were bowled out for an all-time
low 27 all out against Australia in Jamaica last month.

This was the lowest Test score by a West Indies team in its 97-year history and the second lowest in the history of Test cricket, which began in 1877.
