Residents of St Thomas and surrounding districts will once again have access to outpatient services in the parish when the St Thomas Outpatient Clinic reopens next week.
The facility, located at Rock Hall, will resume operations on Tuesday, May 5, following refurbishment works aimed at improving the delivery of healthcare services.
The clinic will offer general practice services on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
However, the pharmacy at the facility will reopen a week later, on Tuesday, May 12.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness said the reopening reflects its ongoing efforts to strengthen primary healthcare services and improve access to care.
Members of the public are being encouraged to utilise the services at the upgraded clinic. (BGIS)
