BNECL caused one of the biggest upsets of the Barbados National Domino Association Four Hand League by defeating Buzo Osteria Welchman Hall 83-75.
Andrew ‘Bones’ Sandiford and Auville Holder led the way for BNECL with 25 points to lead them to their first victory in the Premier League.
Peace and Love also showed fine form, by thrashing 37 Family KC Joint 98-36. Cheryl ‘Sweet Pea’ Worrell and Anthony Codagon slammed 21 points for the winners.
Carlton and A1 Braves had a tough time against HIV Commission Hillside, but eventually prevailed 71-62, with Charmaine and Hamilton ‘Hammy’ Durant scoring 19 points.
French Village Piranhas failed to bite, as R M Cleaners came out victorious 76- 66.
In other results, Powerade Locked and Loaded were powerless to stop A&B Pest Control Vauxhall who defeated them 77-61, whileTrident Insurance Patriots crushed Police 80-56.
Hindsbury edged St Joseph 72-65 in a closely contested game, as Charles Lovell and Anderson Daniel led the way with 17 points, while Checker Hall and Eastbourne secured victories over Speightstown and De Clique respectively.
R L Sealed QEH eased past Massy Spring Cottage, with Bathsheba also easily defeating St Leonards 83-58.
