The Barbados National Dominoes Association’s Emmerson Mellows knock out tournament began on Sunday with an easy win for Buzo Osteria Welchman Hall, who defeated Sky Mall St Leonards 87-12.
KC’s Joint also won their opening match by defeating B.U.T. 68-18, while Carlton & A1 Braves eased to a 79-12 win over JD’s.
Jeremy Angry Bird Jordan and Dwayne Johnson came from being 2-5 down to win the last set of the game 6-5, as they handed Peace & Love a narrow 75-73 win over Bathsheba in a closely contested game.
A&B Pest Control Vauxhall beat Checkered Hall 71-55, while Spring Cottage knocked Newbury out of the tournament following a 69-55 win.
Police ended their sports day in style, by romping to an emphatic 70-36 victory over Trident Insurance Patriots, while HIV Commission Hillside dismissed Hindsbury 73-44.
