Two 23-year-old Christ Church men have been charged with a string of offences, including robbery and firearm and ammunition possession.
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) said its Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) arrested and formally charged Tyrese Leroy Farrell of Ealing Park South and Reaquan Jacobi Jones of Bournes Land, St Christopher.
The two are jointly charged with two counts of robbery stemming from August 9, as well as possession of a firearm and 14 rounds of ammunition on August 11.
Farrell faces several additional charges across the Southern, Bridgetown and Northern divisions.
In the Bridgetown Division, he is charged with three counts of robbery, one allegedly committed on July 18 and two on July 25, as well as escaping lawful custody on August 14.
He is also charged with possession of 15 rounds of ammunition and five counts of assaulting a police officer in the execution of their duty arising from August 16. Farrell additionally faces two counts of resisting an officer in the execution of their duty.
Jones has separately been charged with assisting an offender on August 11.
Farrell and Jones are scheduled to appear in the District βAβ Criminal Court today.
