Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred near an educational institution at Sorrel Lane, Eden Lodge, St Michael, on Tuesday morning.
Initial reports indicate that around 8:25 a.m., a man was in the area when he was approached by a lone assailant who discharged several gunshots, causing him to flee.
Investigations are continuing.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could assist to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246.
