Premier League sides Ellerton, Gall Hill, and Paradise delivered commanding performances on Monday night to book their places in the next round of the Barbados Football Association Champions Cup.
Paradise produced the most emphatic result of the evening, dismantling Glebe 5β0. Ellerton were pushed far harder but held their nerve in a tight 3β2 victory over Technique, while Eyreβs Meat Shop Pride of Gall Hill ensured a clean sweep for Premier League teams with a narrow 1β0 win against Chickmount FC.
Division One representatives also made their mark. Pro Shottas progressed with a composed 2β0 win over Caribbean United, while Maxwell edged past Hillaby 1β0.
In the other games Youngboyz stunned Police 3β1, Whitehall outlasted Deacons 3β2 in a competitive battle, and Barbados Soccer Academy survived a tense encounter, defeating L&R United 5β4 on penalties after a 1β1 draw.
